Analyst Payroll will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for India & the Philippines, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory benefits. This role requires strong payroll operations expertise, automation skills, stakeholder management, and a data-driven mindset to optimize payroll execution. You will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Compliance teams, and third-party payroll vendors to enhance payroll efficiency, ensure accurate salary disbursements, and provide a seamless employee experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Payroll Operations & Compliance
  • · Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees in India & the Philippines, ensuring timely and error-free salary disbursements.
  • · Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws, taxation policies, and statutory contributions, including EPF, ESI, LWF, TDS (India) & SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR Tax (Philippines).
  • · Manage payroll reconciliations, tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • · Stay updated on payroll-related statutory changes, ensuring proactive implementation of new regulations.
  • · Partner with and provide input to third-party vendors and/or HR Technology department to ensure all systems related to payroll are set-up appropriately, efficiently and in compliance with Central and state laws.
  • · Implement payroll analytics dashboards to track trends, analyze payroll costs, and generate insights for leadership.
  • · Partner with finance to prepare various journal entries, account reconciliations, and provide general ledger support.
  • · Handle payroll audits and internal compliance checks in collaboration with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • · Manage and oversee third-party payroll vendors in India & the Philippines, ensuring SLA adherence and process efficiency.
  • · Act as the primary escalation point for payroll-related employee concerns in India & the Philippines.
  • · Educate employees on payslip breakdowns, tax deductions, benefits, and payroll policies.
  • · Ensure prompt resolution of payroll disputes, off-cycle payments, and final settlements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of payroll experience, with expertise in multi-country payroll (India & Philippines).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax laws, and statutory deductions in both countries.
  • Proficiency in Workday, Service-Now, advanced knowledge of MS Excel is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently
