Our internship hiring process
1. Apply for an internship
Use the search window above to find and apply for an internship that interests you and matches your experience.
2. Interview
If you’re a match, a Talent Acquisition Professional may contact you for additional screening. This may involve interviews conducted by phone and/or video. Since we receive so many submissions, we may not contact every person who applies.
3. The offer
If you’re selected, a Talent Acquisition Professional will contact you with a verbal offer and a written offer letter. If you accept the offer letter and pass applicable pre-employment screenings and verifications – including drug and background checks – we’ll confirm your start date for the summer internship program.
4. Start your internship
Your internship program starts with two weeks of orientation and integration into Empower. You'll have ongoing professional development opportunities, while gaining real-world work experience.

When do you hire for internships?
We hire on a rolling basis starting in the fall for the following summer.
When are your summer internships?
We typically begin the internship program right after Memorial Day weekend and finish the first week of August.
How long are your internships?
Our programs span 10 weeks of full-time work and professional development.
Who can apply?
We accept sophomores and juniors working toward an undergraduate degree and graduate students who have at least one semester left of their schooling.
What locations offer internships?
