JOB SUMMARY:

As a core member ofour Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation(NQ)team,youwill support,maintain,and enhanceourcritical recordkeeping andclient-facing applicationsthat support our importantcustomers. Additionally, youwill have the opportunity tosupport and maintain our cloud-based infrastructureand ensureapplicationsarerunning as expected and optimized forcost andperformance.  

In thisrapidpacedenvironment, youmust possess a "can-do" attitude while demonstrating a strong work ethic.Youwill leverageyourtechnical skillsin a variety of waystofix issues,upgradesystem components,enhance functionality, improvesystem performance, etc.using a variety of tools, methods, & frameworks.Youshouldenjoy solving complexproblemsandworking independently, as well as, with our IT team and business partners. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+yearsdeveloping solutions involving the following technologies:C#, VB.NET, Web API, MVC, Oracleor otherSQL, .NET Core,JavaScript, CSS,and HTML.

• Experiencewith one or more of the following technologiesis a plus: WebAPI(JSON/XML), RESTful architectures, AWS API Gateway,PythonandLambda.

• 2+years of strong SQL knowledge on Oracle or other databases including writing stored procedures/views/functions, optimizing, and debugging SQL.

• Experience with Windows and IIS configurations and setup, as wellasremediating server and application vulnerabilitiesis a plus.

• ExperiencewithjQueryandAngular or React JS framework is a plus.

• Experiencewithmodern deployment models usingJenkinsor otherCI/CD pipelines.

• Proficientwith source code version controlsuch asGitLab

• Experienceon the AWS platform and servicesand other cloud productsa plus.

• Knowledge ofmodernSoftware Development LifeCycle (SDLC) and the agile methodology.

• Excellentwrittenand verbalskills and ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Detail oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills tomultitaskand ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Enthusiasm to work and learn in a team environment with experience of working in teams spread across multiple locations. 

• Demonstrate flexibility in handling both planned project enhancements and unplanned break/fix issues as business needs arise.

• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while remaining professional and courteous.

• Able to keep knowledgeup to datein the appropriate technical andbusiness-relatedareas.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Scienceor related field (Information Systems, Mathematics, Software Engineering)

OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiar with DevOpsprinciples and practices.

• Comfortable withLinux, UNIX,orWindowsbased OS.

• 2+yearsofexperiencewithin afinancial or other highly regulated industry.

• Preferred work experience using JIRA in Agileorrelated development methodologies.

• Delivers internal and external customer service excellence. Exhibits listening, patience, empathy, authenticity, pro-activity, and perseverance withour business partners.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Key team members are spread out across the United States, so hours may extendfrom day to day.
