This role will oversee solution design, architecture, and implementation for data-driven initiatives, ensuring scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Oracle data warehousing, coupled with proven experience in data analysis, project management, and client engagement. The manager will collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, deliver high-impact solutions, and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.

·REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed onshore/offshore teams and deliver complex projects on time. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact across onshore/offshore teams, ensuring consistent communication, alignment, and productivity across time zones.
  • Proven full stack development experience and strong understanding of AWS cloud platforms (S3, EMR, Lambda, Step Function, Event Bridge, etc.) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Strong experience with Oracle data warehouse and SAP Business Object Data Services (BODS) ETL.
  • Skilled in coaching and mentoring engineers and enforcing engineering discipline, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models, release planning, backlog management, and sprint execution.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams (developers, data engineers, QA, product owners, architects) and capable of leading AWS and Data Services code reviews, guiding best practices in development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across business and technology functions.
  • Enforce software engineering standards including clean code principles, version control discipline, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, foster a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence, and support career growth through upskilling initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree in related systems or business field is strongly desired.
  • Minimum fourteen (14) years of experience including at least five (5) years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people.
  • Experience with complex data-driven development and digital transformation programs with high-volume data stores.
  • Experience with multiple products in the space of Business intelligence and data analytics including but not limited to Tableau, SAP business objects, QuickSight, etc.
