Empower India Business Analytics team is looking for a manager for managing team of analysts and developers for reporting analytics and automation. This person will be responsible for leading the design and maintenance of business applications and delivery of reports within SLA’s to business users. You will be working alongside other talented people who address complex business challenges every day which has tangible impacts on the organization’s success and our mission. The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent analytical, report delivery and team management skills, with the ability to communicate and present information to stakeholders at all levels of the business. Your attention to detail ensures that you’ll get the job done accurately while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities
Lead a team that is responsible for delivery of targeted, incisive and succinct reports and analysis that promote data-driven decisions
Provide inputs and support the reporting & analytics strategic roadmap implementation and its continued evolution
Define project requirements for improving the efficiency of the analytics function and enable self-service by identifying project milestones, forming project team and establishing project goals
Monitor multiple project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and maintaining governance
Maintain regular connect with key stakeholders through performance reviews and presenting monthly dashboards
Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing data requirements
Ensure delivery of scheduled / adhoc report as per SLA
Mentor team members and guide them in operational matters
Conduct performance reviews of the team members
Evaluate training and certification needs and ensure that they are met
Maintain engagement with team members in a hybrid working environment
Educational Qualification
Graduate / Post-graduate degree in Analytics/ Statistics/Data science/engineering
Required Experience
9-14 years of experience working in business intelligence, analytics or data science
5+ years of direct people management experience
Expert knowledge on SAS, SQL (DynamoDb, MySQL, PostgreSQL preferred), Python and Tableau for reporting and automation
Familiarity with AWS services like DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, ElastiCache, Lambda, Step functions and S3 is recommended
Good to have : Exposure with API - Restful API, CICD - Git lab, IDE -VS Code, Understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, ReactJS and Laravel Framework , Docker and Kubernetes experience
Required skills and competencies
A performance-oriented, resourceful and self-starter with excellent data analytical skill set
Able to prioritize business requests in face of changing priorities and competing demands
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extensive experience in reporting, dashboard, and scorecard design/implementation
Stakeholder management skills to engage with senior US leaders, business process owners & onsite analytics teams
Ability to handle teams in virtual / hybrid working environments
