The Senior Manager, HR Operations leads the delivery of scalable, efficient, and consistent HR operational services across regions. This role partners closely with HR and business leaders to ensure HR processes, systems, and data align with enterprise standards while meeting regional requirements and supporting a positive employee experience.
This position manages and develops the HR Operations team and plays a critical role in driving process optimization, system alignment, compliance, and continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.
Essential Functions
- Lead HR operations service delivery practices with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and consistency in multiple countries including US, India, and Philippines.
- Lead the review, streamlining, and documentation of HR operations processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and regional requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities to leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions to streamline HR operations, enhance data accuracy, reduce manual effort, and improve the employee experience, while ensuring appropriate governance and compliance.
- Ensure regional processes, data fields, and business workflows align with corporate processes and system updates, including new releases, changes, and enhancements.
- Manage and develop the HR Operations team, including performance management, coaching, and workforce planning.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to support and guide changes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Oversee background verification, onboarding, and offboarding processes to ensure timely execution, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
- Oversee employment-related documentation and personnel record maintenance, while identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and automation.
- Partner with HR and reporting teams to provide input on reporting needs, enhancements, and data accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including people leadership and functional expertise in HR Operations.
- Working knowledge of HR compliance requirements; compliance experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Workday, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Excel; experience supporting system improvements preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address operational issues efficiently.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting HR operational initiatives that align with business priorities.
- Demonstrated judgment in handling sensitive employee and business information.
