The position sets projects deadlines, performs new client onboarding and other plan level implementations for Defined Contribution retirement plans, monitors and summarizes progress of the projects. Prepare reports/circulars for upper management regarding the status of projects. The position relies on familiarity with a variety of the field's such as project management, stakeholder management, quality concepts, practices and procedures and relies on excellent judgments making skills accomplish goals. Responsible for plan set up review, plan set up audit and documentation of new and existing procedures. Take part in key initiatives for the Implementation department. Key initiatives may include audit remediation activities, metrics gathering, and participating in issue / error resolution. Attend meetings that pertains plan provisions, system set up and file layout. Operate as the Systems Subject Matter Expert for clients and team members
Primary Accountability:
Performs QC activates such as plan setup reviews and/or peer reviews
Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of data processing, system limitations and client functions
Completes quality control checks for team member plan set-up and testing
Audits Plan set up for new and existing clients
Creates and updates procedures, checklists and test scripts
Works on special projects such as metrics gathering, audit remediation including error/issue resolution
Mentor/assist new hires and colleagues in resolving day day issues and challenges. Train new hires on domain, systems, processes and applications.
Competencies:
Strong Domain Knowledge: Domain expertise in Defined Contribution plans is necessary. Understanding of government regulations related tDC domain is a must
Functional & Technical Expertise: Candidate must posses in-depth understanding of how transaction works in system, background of core operations is essential
Time Critical: Experience in leading and managing conversion projects with strict deadlines.
Stakeholder Management: Candidate should have an experience in effectively working / managing relationships with Implementation Analyst group, Case setup and other operations teams
Effective Communication: Ability communicate at all levels as well as possess good presentation skills
Excellent skills with MS Office tools (Excel, PPT, Word, Visio)
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
4-6 years of experience in US retirement industry preferably Defined Contribution domain
Experience of working in a financial recordkeeping platform is a must preferably with multiple functions/processes
Tools Worked: MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word, Visio); EASY and other GWG application will be an added advantage
