Job Description

Under general supervision, serves as the first line of contact for internal partners to facilitate plan-initiated fund and fee change requests. Handles routine to moderately complex inquiries and problem resolution.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides prompt, accurate and professional responses to internal telephone inquiries, email requests and service requests including, but not limited to, requests for Plan Level- fund and fee changes, product level changes and enhancements, and manual mailing requests.

  • Create and process the fund and fee change paperwork and scheduling with numerous internal teams and departments.

  • Understand the end-to-end process for fund and fee changes so that any issues can be researched and resolved.

  • Handle all requests for fund and fee changes independently while maintaining the department’s minimum quality, productivity and time standards, referring more complex issues to more experienced associates.

  • Responsible for adhering and meeting service standard turnaround times associated with each task related to processing fund and fee changes.

  • Ability to adapt to new product rollouts and procedure changes by using critical thinking and industry knowledge around investments and products within the organization to solve problems and process changes.

  • Moderate autonomy-using established procedures, critical thinking, and decision making to perform assigned tasks. 

  • Performs review of data and activity to prevent risk of loss due to errors. 

  • Develops working relationships with peers, management, and a wide array of other internal lines of business.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 1-2 years financial services experience preferred.

  • Requires superior communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong Attention to detail required.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

  • Many duties will be done while sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
