Job Description
Under general supervision, serves as the first line of contact for internal partners to facilitate plan-initiated fund and fee change requests. Handles routine to moderately complex inquiries and problem resolution.
Essential Functions:
Provides prompt, accurate and professional responses to internal telephone inquiries, email requests and service requests including, but not limited to, requests for Plan Level- fund and fee changes, product level changes and enhancements, and manual mailing requests.
Create and process the fund and fee change paperwork and scheduling with numerous internal teams and departments.
Understand the end-to-end process for fund and fee changes so that any issues can be researched and resolved.
Handle all requests for fund and fee changes independently while maintaining the department’s minimum quality, productivity and time standards, referring more complex issues to more experienced associates.
Responsible for adhering and meeting service standard turnaround times associated with each task related to processing fund and fee changes.
Ability to adapt to new product rollouts and procedure changes by using critical thinking and industry knowledge around investments and products within the organization to solve problems and process changes.
Moderate autonomy-using established procedures, critical thinking, and decision making to perform assigned tasks.
Performs review of data and activity to prevent risk of loss due to errors.
Develops working relationships with peers, management, and a wide array of other internal lines of business.
Qualifications:
4-year degree or equivalent experience
1-2 years financial services experience preferred.
Requires superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong Attention to detail required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
Many duties will be done while sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
