The Senior Manager of Enablement Training, Licensing & Development leads trainers in supporting a variety of learning programs across Empower Personal Wealth Philippines organization. This role identifies training needs and manages the contributions of the trainers to solve for those needs and creates and maintains strong partnerships with leaders across Empower. This role is critical to successfully hire, onboard, and license new associates to prepare for training and production in their new roles.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage, evaluate, and develop a team of trainers across multiple locations; strategically leverage training team across Empower Personal Wealth training needs
- Continuously evaluate needs of Empower Personal Wealth and partner with key stakeholders and leadership to support training programs
- Coach trainers to improve skill sets and provide opportunities for ongoing development
- Identify and assess future and current training needs based on business objectives and associate performance
- Assist with the development of strategic training plans
- Build collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate with business area managers, onboarding and sales enablement as necessary regarding trainer and student issues and needs
- Monitor and evaluate the data from and effectiveness of training programs and provide reporting
- Address and eliminate inefficiencies and conflicts based on data review and analysis
- Provide instructional design support and partnership
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
- Continually evaluate and evolve licensing and certification programs and manage external partners
- Manage, support and coach representatives through securities licensing study programs to drive successful outcomes
- Provide coordination and support of the fingerprinting process in partnership with Compliance and HR
- Provide oversight of licensing exam scheduling to ensure all necessary exams are taken within expected timeline, including re-take if needed
- Ensure all new hires setup is completed, including systems access, security and technology access to perform job functions and training
- Manage full onboarding experience for new hires
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- FINRA fingerprinting
- FINRA Series 7 and 24 (FINRA Series 9/10 in lieu of 24)
- 7 years minimum of experience directly related to training and development
- Knowledge of training methods, styles, and mature learning principles
- Experience facilitating and conducting training sessions
- Financial services experience preferred
- Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a variety of roles and personalities and to advise and influence others
- Fluent English
