The Campaign Manager is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, execution, optimization, and operational management of marketing and transactional campaigns across multiple channels. This role owns campaign delivery and operational strategy for assigned programs, establishes priorities, drives cross-functional alignment, and ensures campaigns achieve defined business and customer objectives.
The Campaign Manager partners with Marketing, Project Management, Creative, Engineering, Data Operations, and Analytics teams to deliver personalized, data-driven customer experiences that support engagement, retention, and revenue growth. The role requires deep campaign management and marketing operations experience and the ability to independently lead complex campaign initiatives from planning through execution and optimization.
What you will do:
- Own end-to-end campaign delivery for assigned marketing and transactional programs, including intake, planning, campaign setup, QA, deployment, monitoring, optimization, and post-campaign analysis.
- Own the campaign roadmap and operational prioritization for assigned programs, identifying dependencies, risks, resource needs, and optimization opportunities and driving cross-functional alignment and resolution.
- Manage marketing and transactional campaigns across multiple channels, including Email, PLAs, Widgets, SMS, Push Notifications, Mobile App, Call Tasks, Direct Mail, and other customer engagement channels.
- Lead the development and optimization of personalized, cross-channel customer journeys that drive customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
- Maintain campaign deployment and roadmap calendars, establish priorities, and ensure campaigns are planned, sequenced, and executed according to established timelines.
- Develop and execute audience segmentation strategies using customer data and insights to improve targeting, personalization, contact frequency, and overall campaign effectiveness.
- Drive testing roadmaps across channels, including A/B and multivariate testing, and evaluate performance against defined KPIs to identify actionable optimization opportunities.
- Partner with Analytics and Marketing to interpret campaign performance, identify opportunities, and translate insights into recommendations that inform campaign strategy and future execution.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of data architecture and customer data models to inform campaign execution, audience development, targeting, and personalization.
- Partner with Project Management, Creative, Engineering, Data Operations, and Analytics, serving as the campaign operations lead for assigned initiatives and driving alignment on requirements, dependencies, timelines, risks, and delivery.
- Analyze campaign performance and synthesize results, insights, and recommendations for Marketing stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify and lead improvements to campaign processes, governance, and operational workflows that increase efficiency, scalability, quality, and consistency.
- Proactively identify campaign delivery risks and operational challenges, recommend solutions, and drive issues to resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for campaign management practices, marketing automation capabilities, and execution processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and the overall customer experience through data, testing, automation, and operational best practices.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in lifecycle marketing, campaign management, marketing operations, or a related discipline, including experience independently leading complex, cross-functional campaign initiatives.
- Strong experience owning and executing end-to-end campaigns within a marketing automation platform, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, and Intelligence Reports, is preferred.
- Experience managing omnichannel campaigns across Email, PLAs, Widgets, SMS, Push Notifications, Mobile App, Call Tasks, Direct Mail, and other customer engagement channels.
- Strong experience with customer segmentation, audience creation, campaign targeting strategies, personalization, and the use of test and control groups.
- Experience developing and executing A/B and multivariate testing strategies and measuring campaign effectiveness through data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with campaign management and project management tools such as Workfront, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience interpreting campaign performance metrics, ROI, customer engagement KPIs, and testing results and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong understanding of email and digital marketing best practices, personalization capabilities, and customer lifecycle principles.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, make sound operational decisions, manage competing demands, and independently drive initiatives from planning through execution and optimization.
- Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority and communicate priorities, requirements, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
- Knowledge of marketing databases, data manipulation, and SQL is a plus.

Base Salary Range
$96,100.00 - $135,700.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
