The Lead Software Engineer will help the team follow approved architecture and produce solutions and design considerations for the development, maintenance, and improvement of software applications. This role will establish best practices in software development, coding, code review, testing, and problem-solving, while delivering complex project work in a full-stack environment.
What you will do:
- Understand the end-to-end technical flow of the project.
- Collaborate with the business and architects to understand, suggest, and follow best practices and implement solutions.
- Influence technical solutions by sharing knowledge and brainstorming within the team.
- Help the team move forward by applying technical problem-solving skills and assist in resolving production issues.
- Assist in code reviews and enforce standard practices within the team.
- Continuously learn and adapt to recent technologies and development practices.
- Serve as the go-to person for trying innovative solutions or conducting proof-of-concepts.
- Deliver complex pieces of project work.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training.
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience working in a full-stack environment - Java 17 and above, SQL, Angular or React
- AWS or any cloud technology
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and practices.
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices for technical and architectural practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and technical influencing skills.

Base Salary Range
$114,000.00 - $165,300.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
