As a Product Manager on our Core Services team, you will focus on the aggregation experience and relationship with our aggregation vendor. This role, as an individual contributor, is responsible for executing the strategy, development, roll-out and ongoing management assigned product, capability, or service.

You’ll bring a strong track record in product management, as well as creativity and humility, product sense and analytical skill, leadership, and the ability to collaborate.

What you will do:

  • Help define, implement, and manage specific products and services and may include multi mediums and diverse service models with an eye towards overall P&L of offering
  • Responsible for coordinating all internal and external functional partners including marketing, sales, service, operations, technology, and vendors to effectively support and promote products
  • Understanding of competitive landscape and differentiations and priorities for Empower
  • Identify initiatives and enhancements by engaging partners internally and externally and prioritize to drive growth and or efficiencies and profitability of Empower
  • Help define and facilitate scope, securing subject matter experts, implications to costs and revenue, positioning
  • Works with key partners both internally and externally to ensure both organizational readiness as well as synergies with other business initiatives

What you will bring:

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience required, preferably within financial services industry working within assigned market(s)
  • Previous experience with all mediums of communications, specifically digital, required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • FINRA 6 permitted, but not required.  Corporate-established timelines apply to permitted registrations

What will set you apart:

  • Previous project management experience preferred
  • While direct marketing experience is not required, ideal candidates will be a seasoned marketer and manager of projects and products
  • Ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of the marketplace including employers, employees and intermediary, and have the ability to influence internal and external clients and partners

Base Salary Range

$92,400.00 - $130,500.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
