The Internal Sales Consultant (ISC) plays a critical role in supporting, coordinating and executing high-stakes requests for proposals (RFPs), finalist presentations, and onboarding implementation efforts for Large/Mega Government retirement plan clients. The ISC ensures that milestones are precisely tracked, stakeholders are aligned, and client deliverables are completed with precision and within tight deadlines.
The ISC role requires exceptional attention to detail, rigorous time management, and a passion for process excellence across multiple, simultaneous engagements.
What you will do
Support assigned Regional Sales Director(s) with joint development and execution of a business plan, territory management, and scheduling appointments
Own the end-to-end workflow, and execute the RFP Checklist, including:
Initial RFP question responses (typically 100+ questions)
Kickoff internal scheduling and ensure stakeholder alignment
Analyze fund lineups for asset management placement
Deliver pricing for new opportunities that create sustainability
Complete required entries in Salesforce, Workfront, and internal strategy decks
Coordinate with various departments including external wholesalers, underwriting, investments, trust, strategic relations, and contracts
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of drafts, pricing requests, and final submissions
Project manage the finals presentation preparation, including:
Session scheduling (kickoff, 1:1s, walk-throughs, dry runs)
Presentation deck construction, approvals, proofing, and printing
Travel planning, team communication, and post-final follow-ups
Respond to advisor/consultant inquiries and escalate issues as appropriate to sales and/or ongoing service team
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent work experience
3+ years of project management experience, in retirement or financial services
Understanding of the retirement plan services industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to track and manage extensive documentation and communication threads
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Adobe Acrobat
FINRA Series 6 and 63 registration and insurance licensing required within established timelines
FINRA fingerprinting required

Base Salary Range
$59,500.00 - $80,500.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
