As a Product Manager on our Growth team, you’ll focus on empowering our users to effortlessly engage with and share Empower through innovative referral and promotion experiences. You will help create frictionless, engaging flows that drive participation and reward users, directly impacting customer acquisition and growth metrics
What you will do:
- Own and lead all aspects of Empower’s referral and promotion experiences.
- Create seamless workflows that encourage customers to participate in referral and promotional campaigns.
- Understand customer motivations and behaviors related to sharing Empower and engaging with rewards.
- Develop and implement strategies for increasing referral program participation and retention.
- Partner with design, engineering, and marketing to launch intuitive, engaging features that drive customer actions.
- Conduct competitive analysis and user research to inform and refine product strategies.
- Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to design and execute meaningful A/B tests.
- Define success metrics and build tracking plans to monitor the impact of referral and promotion initiatives.
- Effectively communicate product roadmaps and priorities with internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Balance short-term delivery goals with long-term vision, ensuring alignment with Empower’s overall growth strategy.
What you will bring:
- 3+ years of experience leading major (digital) direct-to-consumer products and working collaboratively with engineering, design, and research teams.
- Exceptional prioritization and stakeholder management skills, particularly working with compliance/legal partners in a highly regulated industry.
- Excellent communication skills, storytelling, and organizational skills that instills confidence in senior leaders, cross-functional partners, and peers.
- Relentless follow through and commitment to do the right through and do what you say.
- Detail and design oriented; the details really matter to you.
- Passionate about tackling complicated and impactful customer and business problems.
- Critical, analytical thinker and comfortable analyzing data and pulling out key insights.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

- A big plus: experience with growth-focused initiatives such as referrals, promotions, or customer incentive programs.
- Experience in the fintech industry with demonstrable knowledge of industry best practices.

Base Salary Range
$94,200.00 - $133,050.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
