The Senior Data Modeler will develop and execute architectures, policies, practices, and procedures to manage the organization’s information lifecycle needs effectively. This role will examine organizational data to draw conclusions, make expert recommendations on project and program strategy, and lead data modeling best practices to support consistency and accuracy of data elements across systems.
What you will do:
- Lead strategic discussions and facilitate decision making regarding data modeling across complex systems.
- Drive solutions for data modeling within and across technology systems.
- Gather and analyze data requirements and data flows to other systems.
- Transform complex database requirements into logical data models.
- Develop physical data models to define database structure.
- Create data architectures and logical and physical data models for databases and data warehouses.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of data warehouses to integrate data from various sources and systems within the organization.
- Maintain and optimize data warehouse integration across complex systems.
- Optimize database performance through efficient indexing and table relationships.
- Spot trends, write reports, and implement recommendations for internal or external clients.
- Support back-end transaction and data processing, market research professional services, data architecture, and data warehouse development and enhancement.
- Develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation.
- Manage data migrations and conversions and troubleshoot data processing issues.
- Manage projects and processes.
- Work independently with limited supervision.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team.
- Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems.
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling or equivalent data technology.
- Advanced knowledge of the job area, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
- Experience creating data architectures and logical and physical data models.
- Experience developing and enhancing data warehouses.
- Experience with back-end transaction and data processing.

Base Salary Range
$138,000.00 - $200,100.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
