We have three openings among our LMN and RPAT teams.
The Senior Director Retirement Consultation will be responsible for continuing to build and grow teams and initiatives within WPA. In this role, you will oversee talent, processes, strategy, staffing, culture, performance targets, service and relationships to ensure the teams they oversee are successful.
What you will do
- Achieve performance and revenue metrics, asset retention and growth, headcount, and budget targets for division. Asset retention and growth targets include retail performance, plan asset retention (SIP), managed account products, roll-in performance if/where applicable, and wealth management referrals
- Champion and drive advice delivery and adoption/ referrals
- Partner with workplace and relationship leaders to develop and deliver best in class participant advice/ education offerings
- Manage "Affiliated" channels for Wealth Management book and drive adoption of services and offerings
- Deliver referrals to respective Private Client, Wealth Management and Investment Services segments in EPW
- Manage campaigns, lead flows, and volumes to ensure healthy pipeline of lead opportunities to teams
- Refine compensation plans, recognition programs, progressive disciplinary procedures, performance practices and other management processes
- Communicate business strategy, updates and expectations to organization to ensure awareness and manage culture, expectations, productivity and behaviors across team
- Partner with product, technology, marketing to design value-add, client-centric and profitable offerings
- Manage hiring, training and development of associates to proficient levels around retirement plans, investments, plan rules/ policies, retirement regulations
- Develop managers, oversee performance plans and coaching
- Ensure associates have required licensing, credentials, capabilities and knowledge to perform jobs well
- Oversee customer escalations, error correction process, and root issue identification to improve processes
- Perform and deliver business performance reviews, analyze trends, and implement initiatives to constantly improve outcomes
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience
FINRA Series 7, 24 (or 9 & 10), 63 registrations required within corporate-established timelines
- FINRA fingerprinting required
- 7-10+ years demonstrated success in financial services and/or leadership
- 2-5+ years of management experience
- Expert managing multiple priorities and ability to handle stressful situations and people on a daily basis
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
- Advanced consulting skills
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to master new information quickly and independently
- In-depth understanding of individual investments, IRAs/ taxable vehicles, mutual funds/ stocks/ bonds, retirement investment products/services and the qualified retirement plan environment
- Actively facilitates and reinforces a customer-focused culture; employs critical thinking and problem solving to promote customer loyalty
- Maintains connectedness to customers; understands customer s needs objectives and goals
- Advocates customer and associate input, takes action, delegates and/or addresses with Leadership in order to remedy procedural, systemic and/or resource constraints
- Operational Effectiveness: Manages and measures work; mitigates risks and creates efficiencies
- Leverages global perspective to identify ways to improve or align systems, services, and resources
- Contributes to oversight and management of budget, manages labor, analyzes discrepancies

Base Salary Range
$132,600.00 - $192,300.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
