The Senior Workday Reporting Analyst is responsible for creating simple and complex Workday reports and dashboards for a wide array of end users. This role has responsibility for the administration and improvement of the Workday reporting processes and is responsible for understanding the company's Workday data in an effort to translate business requirements into understandable and user friendly reports and dashboards. The information provided by the Sr Workday Reporting Analyst through reporting and dashboards will be used to inform leaders and business processes, as well and play a key part in decision making for the company and HR organization. This role is responsible for developing reports and dashboards for all HR functions in support of business needs, as well as developing them for various parts of the business, ensuring the integrity of the data provided. A customer focused approach, balanced with intimate data knowledge, is key to proactively identifying opportunities and translating business needs effectively.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, configure, and test complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite, BIRT) utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer, as well as other tools

  • Utilize Workday capabilities like Data Sources, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, Dashboards and report scheduling to create automated and scalable reporting solutions

  • Utilize custom report design standards and report monitoring to ensure a consistent, trusted user experience with optimum report performance

  • Design Workday reports for operational and strategic projects

  • Review system upgrades/releases to determine overall business impact, conduct regression testing and make recommendations for future enhancements/functionality

  • Collaborate with other organizations in the Workday Community to share knowledge and create and/or adhere to industry best practices

  • Maintain awareness of current trends in Workday reporting and best practice

  • Perform reporting audits to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Provide support, including researching, resolving reporting issues, and supporting training initiatives within Workday

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

  • At least 5 years in HR reporting and/or HRIS administration roles with a minimum of 3 years experience working with Workday Report writing/calc fields required

  • Deep knowledge of Workday data sources and complex calculated fields

  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy with confidential data

  • Experience utilizing trended data sources for report creation

  • In-depth knowledge of Workday reporting capabilities & data architecture

Base Salary Range

$85,600.00 - $120,925.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
