Responsible for start of day fund accounting daily tasks.
Responsibilities will be varied but will include analysis of beginning cash balances, reconciliation of cash including matching of cash receipts/disbursements to receivables and payables within the Investment Accounting System, reconciliation of shareholder balances between transfer agent and accounting system records, reconciliation of asset positions between the custodian and applicable investment manager records.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 1-2 years’ Work experience in Cash Reconciliation, Trade reconciliation and Trade processing, Position/holdings reconciliation against custody, broker, fund manager reports.

• Proficiency in understanding and processing of taxable and tax-exempt Cash dividends, Dividend Options, Dividend Reinvestment Plan, Dividend calculations.

• Proficiency in Fixed income securities bond, ABS, MBS, Mortgage and collateral

• Proficiency in Paydowns, base rate calculation and accounting procedures.

• Full-fledge Knowledge on processing Interest payments of Bonds issued by the Company, redeeming bonds, partially redeeming bonds and Redeeming bonds Early from bondholders by the Company prior to the maturity date announced at the time of issuing bonds.

• Experienced in processing Capital Distribution and Other Gains Distribution.

• Calculating conversion rate of currencies based on Exchange rate provided by the Company while announcing Cash dividends to Shareholders.

• Fundamental knowledge on capital markets, mutual funds, Fund accounting procedures & Nav calculation procedures

• Handling events like Liquidation, Executing Cheque payments and Announcing Rights issue to the existing clients of a Company.

• Security setup based on BBG and client instructions.

• Proficient in doing Record date reconciliation and adjusting Eligibility in Record date reconciliation.

• Performing Notification Reconciliation and Checking whether notification generated to client or not

• Shift hours 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM IST (should be flexible as per the business requirement)
