Great West Global is growing their global presence and support. Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role of Program Instructor. Successful candidates will learn more about the specific opportunity during the interview process.

Key Roles & responsibilities

  • The most important part of this role to is train each employee with accurate information regarding the benefit they are learning
  • There are often changes to the rules for how benefits are assessed so the Instructor needs to stay up to date on all CE material and benefits to be able to provide the most up to date information
  • Be comfortable training a class of up to 8-10 people for cross training and new hire training.  The goal of new hire training is in class, cross training would be virtually
  • Complete a CE Training Evaluation at the end of a new hire to provide leaders with the transfer of information
  • Complete One on One Coaching Sessions with all new hires by the end of training to provide tips, tricks, set up, efficiencies that you can share so they will be performing at a higher level within operations
  • Follow Lesson Plans and make suggestions for change where appropriate along with looking for gaps in training that we can fill
  • Participate in Monthly Meetings with our Learning and Development Team to review what materials needs updating, review material they are working on and collaborate to provide the best training program to our people
  • Assist with creating email communications to our teams and assisting in the write up of Improvement Opportunity trending to provide People Leaders and TA’s speaking points for their team meetings.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Graduate in any stream

Experience in Program Instructor role for at least 5+ years

  • Comfortable with the release of P49’s, auditing of employees, setting up different touch points and setting them up for success in their role
  • Be comfortable training a class of up to 8-10 people for cross training and new hire training.  The goal of new hire training is in class, cross training would be virtually
  • This role requires a flexible work schedule
  • Open for shifts based on business requirements  
    Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Customer Oriented mindset
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
