JOB SUMMARY:

As a core member of our Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation(NQ)team, you willprovide critical testing and analysis ofchanges made toour critical recordkeeping and client-facing applications that support ourimportantcustomers. You willprovide internal support to platform engineers,developersand analystsby designing and delivering quality tests, automating testing scenarios,validatingrequirementsandproviding regression testing.

In thisrapidpaced environment, you mustpossessa "can-do" attitude whiledemonstratinga strong work ethic.You should enjoy solving complex problemsandworking independently, as wellas,with our IT team and business partners.You willleverageyour technical skillsin a variety of waystoconfirm the overall health of an application before new versions are released to production. In this vital role, you are the last line of defense against the release of defectsto our user population.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ yearsin a QA technical rolecompleting application and software testing.5+years in automation testing or equivalent automation training

• QAexpertisein manualandfunctional testing.

• Must have the abilityto quickly comprehend project goalsandrequirementsand toidentify gaps,omissions,challenges,andimpediments.

• 8+ years of strong SQL knowledge onOracleor other databases.

• Expertin preparing test plans, testcasesandteststrategy documents.

• 8+ years of experiencecreatingtesting defect reports and trackingthem to resolution in a defect management tool.

• 5+ years of experience in automation frameworks and related tools, such as Selenium, Cucumber, Java,Eclipseand Maven.

• Expertisein writingBDDtest cases(Gherkin format)and in requirement gathering.

• Expertisein Functional Testing, End-to-End, Regression, and Smoke Testing.

• Strong experience with mobile testing.

• Strong experience inaccessibility and security testing.

• Strong experience withtestingWeb Services,WebAPIandPython.

• Strong experience with JSON and XML.

• Strong experiencewithmodern deployment models using Jenkinsor other CI/CD pipelinetools.

• Experiencedwith source code version control such as GitHub, GitLabor other version control tools.

• Strongexperience on the AWS platform and services and other cloud products.

• Expertiseofmodern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the agilemethodology.

• Strong abilityand autonomyto evaluate and recommend AI-enabled quality engineering solutions that reduce manual effort, improve test stability, and enhance overall quality strategy.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills toindependentlyprovide guidance andexpertisetobothseniorand juniorteam members to help them grow their skills and knowledge.

• Will berequiredtoassistwith planning and tracking of less senior team members’ work.

• Excellentwritten and verbalskills and ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Detail oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills to multitask and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Enthusiasm to work and learn in a team environment with experience of working inteams spreadacross multiple locations. 

• Should show continuous interest in upskilling and quickly adapting toemergingtools and technologies.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s DegreeinComputer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiar with DevOps principles and practices.

• Experience withLoadRunner or JMeter for performance,loadand stress testing

• 2+yearsof experience within afinancial or other highly regulated industry.

• Strong experienceusing JIRA in Agile or related development methodologiesand test managementtoollike Zephyr.

• Experiencewith theKarate frameworkfor API automation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Key team members are spread out across the United States, so hours may extendbeyond10:30 PM ISTfrom day to day. 

• Occasionally, support may berequiredoutside the normal M-F schedule.
