Job Summary

The Test Manager is responsible for driving the overall testing strategy, execution, and governance across critical business platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven expertise in managing complex testing operations, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring delivery excellence in alignment with organizational goals. The Test Manager will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology partners, and leadership, ensuring testing solutions meet business, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Governance

- Define, implement, and maintain end-to-end test strategies, frameworks, and processes.
- Drive adoption of test automation, Hybrid SAFe, and AI practices to improve efficiency and quality.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure test effectiveness and report progress to senior leadership.

Leadership & People Management

- Lead, coach, and mentor a large team of test leads, engineers, and associates (15+ direct/indirect reports).
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support recruitment, workforce planning, and training initiatives to build a future-ready team.

Delivery & Execution

- Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of testing activities across multiple programs and projects.
- Anticipate risks, remove roadblocks, and ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.
- Align testing outcomes with business priorities and customer expectations.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Collaborate with business, product, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and align test objectives.
- Provide regular updates, dashboards, and executive-level insights on testing progress and quality outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor on quality, risk, and release readiness.

- Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead large teams.
- Strategic thinker with proven expertise in test management for complex financial platforms.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Proficient in test automation, continuous integration, and emerging QA technologies.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance results, identify gaps, and drive improvements.
- Effective communicator, confident in engaging with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Agile mindset with adaptability to fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 10+ years of experience in testing and quality assurance, with at least 1-2 years in leadership roles.
- Strong background in financial platforms and recordkeeping systems (preferred).
- Hands-on expertise with tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Zephyr, MS Word , Excel.
- Proven track record in driving test automation and transformation initiatives.

Working Conditions

- Normal office working conditions; flexibility to work extended hours or weekends to meet delivery needs.
- Role requires collaboration across global teams and time zones.
