The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of software engineers, coordinating development projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of software products. They play a critical role in team management, project planning, and technical guidance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
Essential Functions:
• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and productivity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers and business leaders, to define project goals, scope, and priorities.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of software projects.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Oversee code reviews, quality assurance processes, and best practices adherence.
• Address and resolve project-related issues, risks, and escalations.
• Provide regular project status updates to upper management and stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to make informed decisions about technology adoption within the team.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training required
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of object-oriented design/development required, Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment. Should have led a team of developers/ Sr Developer and Leads (8 to 10) working on Java technologies
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
