Summary:

Under general direction, conducts moderately complex quality control tests and analyses to ensure that applications meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.  Supports application/system implementation, modification and on-going maintenance projects for financial services, investments and/or support areas.

Primary Accountabilities:

1. Performs moderately complex analysis of business, system and end-user requirements and determines appropriate testing scale and scope within assigned areas/projects.  Drafts, revise and approves test plans that will ensure the quality of delivered systems projects.  Applies best practices and methodologies in evaluating quality assurance issues and solutions.

2. Performs complex system/application testing to ensure delivery meets business, budgetary, and end-user expectations.  Creates and maintains test data files with valid and invalid records.  Ensures thorough

testing of program logic and system flow.

3. Partners with internal and/or external stakeholders plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing. Ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented, and all problems are resolved.

4. Participates in all phases of application/system implementation, modification and on-going maintenance projects for assigned areas.  Completes moderately complex project tasks within defined milestones.  Provides subject matter expertise within assigned projects.

5. May train and mentor less experienced staff.  Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.   Has latitude for unreviewed action and decision making.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience.

Minimum four (4) years relevant experience testing and/or supporting systems/applications.

Demonstrated experience building and reviewing Test Plans and Test Cases, and converting the cases into automated scripts

Goal-oriented team worker with good communication skills

Project management skills and understanding of systems development lifecycle

Knowledge of Financial Services and/or Insurance industry products preferred

Testing (BPT) and Unified Functional Testing (UFT) in HP Application management Lifecycle (ALM). Must have experience testing both front-end web based and back-end software

Salesforce testing experience

Mobile device testing experience

Voice response testing experience

Experience developing and implementing Business Process Testing in HP Application management Lifecycle

Experience developing and executing automated testing scripts in Selenium and HP ALM

Must have the basic concept of Relational Database and SQL in order to pull and verify data from various sources to analyze. Knowledge of Oracle is a plus.

Knowledge of Financial Services and/or Insurance industry products preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

We are looking for a candidate who takes initiative, is self-motivated, and able to juggle multiple priorities

Desirable skills and nice to have skills:

  • Exposure to SAP IMG configuration desired

  • Exposure to SAP FS-CD, SAP ICM modules or SAP FICO or SAP Configuration and or testing. desired.  

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Shifts will be determined and scheduled based on business need as part of a global team

providing 24x7 support to its customers

Rotating shift to support US bases customer

IST 6:30PM pm to 2:30 AM IST) which is 6AM MST to 2 PM MST- On call after 2PM MST Normal Office Working Conditions
