JOB SUMMARY:

As a core member ofour Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation(NQ)team,youwill support,maintain,and enhanceourcritical recordkeeping andclient-facing applicationsthat support our importantcustomers. Additionally, youwill have the opportunity tosupport andmaintainour cloud-based infrastructureand ensureserversarerunning as expected andoptimizedforcost andperformance.  

In thisrapidpacedenvironment, youmustpossessa "can-do" attitude whiledemonstratinga strong work ethic.Youwillleverageyourtechnical skillsin a variety of waystofix issues,upgradesystem components,enhance functionality, improvesystem performance, etc.using a variety of tools, methods, & frameworks.Youshouldenjoy solving complexproblemsandworking independently, as wellas,with our IT team and business partners. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+years developing solutions involving the following technologies:C#, VB.NET, Web API, MVC, Oracleor otherSQL, .NET Core,JavaScript,CSS,and HTML.

• Experiencewith one or more of the following technologiesis a plus: WebAPI(JSON/XML), RESTful architectures, AWS API Gateway,PythonandLambda.

• Good experiencewith Windows and IIS configurations and setup, as wellasremediating server and application vulnerabilities.

• ExperiencewithjQueryandAngular or React JS framework is a plus.

• Experiencewithmodern deployment models usingJenkins, AzureDevOpsor otherCI/CD pipelines.

• Proficientwith source code version controlsuch as GitHub,GitLab,BitBucketor Azure DevOps

• 2+ years of strong SQL knowledge onOracle orother databasesincluding writing stored procedures.

• Experienceon the AWS platform and servicesand other cloudproductsa plus.

• Knowledge ofmodernSoftware Development LifeCycle (SDLC) and the agilemethodology.

• Excellentwrittenandverbalskills and ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Detail oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills tomultitaskand ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Enthusiasm to work and learn in a team environment with experience of working inteams spreadacross multiple locations. 

• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines whileremainingprofessional and courteous.

• Able to keep knowledgeup to datein theappropriate technicalandbusiness-relatedareas.

• Collaborates with colleaguesregardingdevelopmentbest practices and/or application issues.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Scienceor related field (Information Systems, Mathematics, Software Engineering)

OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiar with DevOpsprinciples and practices.

• Comfortable withLinux, UNIX,orWindowsbased OS.

• 2+yearsofexperiencewithin afinancial or other highly regulated industry.

• Preferred work experience using JIRA in Agileorrelated development methodologies.

• Delivers internal and external customer service excellence.Exhibitslistening, patience, empathy, authenticity, pro-activity, and perseverance withour business partners.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Key team members are spread out across the United States,sohours may extendto9:30 PM IST orbeyondfrom day to day. 

• Occasionally, support may berequiredoutside the normalM-Fschedule.
