The primary responsibility of the RMA is to partner directly with Relationship Managers to provide project management and strategic/tactical support. This role requires a person who possesses both analytical interpretation ability and relationship building skills. The aptitude to use retirement plan analytics to help Relationship Managers identify client improvement opportunities is important. Additional expectations include refined problem-solving skills, excellent project management skills and the ability to thrive in a high-energy, deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate is consultative, professional, customer service oriented, accountable, solutions oriented and organized with a focus on helping to deliver client results that positively impact client satisfaction. Thorough understanding of retirement industry and plan design features/rules preferred. Demonstrated working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Candidates with PSC or WEBI exposure preferred. Provide administrative support to relationship management so that client satisfaction / retention goals can be achieved.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify trending and research abnormalities in client data by comparing current and historical stats and by conducting industry-wide research as needed
• Analyze retirement plan data to understand client needs and assist Relationship Managers in identifying areas of success and opportunities for improvement
• Complete custom/specialized presentation materials
• Exhibit organizational skills and follow up work ethic
• Acts with a sense of urgency to resolve member impacting issues
OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree, Finance or Accounting preferred
• 1 to 3 years of work experience
• Good written, verbal and presentation skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Office tools/applications
• Experience managing multiple priorities required
• Experience working with people in a service environment required
