The Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP) provides strategic and tactical human resources support to assigned business units in a complex, global, matrixed organization. This role partners with business leaders and managers to align people strategies with organizational objectives, delivering HR solutions that drive business performance, enhance talent development, and improve employee engagement. The Sr. HRBP acts as a trusted advisor, anticipating HR-related needs, building strong partnerships across the HR function, and implementing programs that support workforce effectiveness and growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide strategic direction and HR guidance to business leaders to support key initiatives and objectives.
  • Serve as the primary HR interface for managers below the most senior leader of a function.
  • Support client group activity in the form of projects, process execution, and general day-to-day HR needs.
  • Influence enterprise-wide decisions and align HR work activities with broader business goals.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as compensation, benefits, and employee relations to broker HR services and solutions.
  • Deliver and execute HR programs, policies, and best practices across assigned groups.
  • Provide input to organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning efforts.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop data-driven solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, including coaching, counseling, and career development support for managers and employees.
  • Partner with senior leaders on talent strategy, including retention, development, and mobility initiatives.
  • Foster strong employee relations by improving work relationships, building morale, and increasing productivity and retention.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements, partnering with legal when needed.
  • Collaborate with global HRBP peers to align HR initiatives and ensure consistency across the enterprise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant HR experience.
  • Strong business acumen with experience influencing leaders at multiple levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization strongly preferred.
