The Sr Manager Empower Investments Reporting will be responsible for enhancing reporting and data solutions for Empower Investments across various proprietary products.The role will provide support Empower Investments’ research and product management teams. The Sr. Manager will also provide subject matter expertise in reporting and automation of investment processes, as well as drive strategic initiatives and best practices across the department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Managing a team of Digital Accelerators and/or Analysts
• Responsible for project work related to automation opportunities and internal processmodernization, with an emphasis on technical process enhancements. This includes developing and writing system specific message files to support processes using Alteryx, robotics, and other tools available.
• Develop new reporting tools in areas such as committee oversight and governance, marketing materials, competitive intelligence, etc.
• Work as needed with internal IT and systems development resources to research process flowissuesinInvestmentOperationsandmakerecommendationsforsystem enhancements.
• Establish and maintain procedures and best practices for the organization, including reviewing,recommending,andimplementingchangestoimproveprocessesand workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance/MBA/Accounting/Computer Science/Information
• Systems or equivalent experience. Additional qualification e.g., CFA is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience at a financial firm, ideally in technical/reporting or investment
• analysis
• Experience in leading a team of investment analysts/senior analysts
• Familiarity with many different types of financial instruments and products
• General familiarity and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements and
• investment mandates
• Knowledge and experience working with investment data and investment attributes.
• Experience and proficiency working with different financial database technologies for
• analytical and reporting needs.
• Experience working with and understanding the needs of stakeholders from different areas
• of the firm (portfolio management, investment administration, compliance, etc.).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
• Experiencing using additional software such as Bloomberg, PAM, PLM, Alteryx, Microsoft
• Power BI, SAP, Morningstar Direct, eVestment, and Oracle. Ability and capacity to
• transition and learn others as needed.
• Strong coding abilities using SQL, VBA, Python, Power Query, DAX. Ability and capacity
