The Product Manager (PM) is responsible for day-to-day product support for Empower Investment's proprietary stable value products. The PM is the SME in providing stable value solutions to existing clients and internal support to Empower and Empower Investment sales and management teams in efforts to drive AUM. Additionally, the PM will be responsible for creating reports, providing research, responding to RFPs and providing thought leadership.
What you will do:
- General product SME and support.
- Leads project management of initiatives by product for segments and key partners
- Provides research and analytical reviews of market dynamics, potential partners, competitors, etc.
- Assist with Empower and Empower Investment Sales personnel to drive AUM efforts through trainings, conference calls, and in-person meetings on our products
- Creates responses to RFP questions to help position our stable value product and put it position to be competitive
- Manage quarterly deliverables involving pricing, rate setting, reporting, and other requirements for overall maintenance of our relationships regarding our stable value products
- Drive efforts to improve existing processes that minimize/eliminate future errors
- Responsible for day to day product support, including supporting product and client implementations, as well as the creation and maintenance of procedural, collateral and training materials
- Interfaces with and nurtures relationships with critical business partners in Valuations, Legal, Asset Management, Risk Management, Client Service, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Systems, and Operations
- Other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in general business, finance, accounting or similar
- 5+ years of professional experience with a retirement provider
- Strong project management skills, including ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Very strong written and verbal communication required
- Desire to have a very visible role presenting to business managers/leaders and leading with data and data-derived insights to influence their decisions, preferred
- Successful candidate will be analytical, creative, and use an innovative approach to solving problems
- Experience with Excel, Powerpoint, and other presentation and analytical tools required
- Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills required
- Excellent communication, including strong presentation skills and executive presence

Base Salary Range
$108,300.00 - $153,000.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
