The Process Transformation Director is an individual contributor position within the Transformation organization that will help lead and support end-to-end (E2E) workflow and automation across Retirement Recordkeeping Operations.
What you will do
- Lead the identification, definition, mapping, optimization, managing, and improving of activities aligned to the E2E process
- Support coordination with all applicable functional areas that contribute people, product/service components, information, and knowledge of the E2E process
- Collect, interpret, and utilize large and disparate volumes of data to capture opportunities, trends, and track successes
- Develop a holistic Scorecard for each E2E process to be leveraged at the business unit level for decision making, as well as at Senior Levels for Executive Updates
- Partner with business unit Leaders and SME’s to identify KPIs that will measure the performance of the E2E process across Service, Quality, Cost, Revenue, and Customer Experience
- Communicate effectively with business partners around gaps associated with the process and ways to mitigate those gaps
- Understand the external environment related to the process: competitive intelligence, regulation, and client behavior
- Ability to analyze the “health” of processes: documentation, E2E awareness of upstream and downstream activities by all teams, communication of changes across teams, shared understanding of target end state and roadmap
- Support execution of IT initiatives that address gaps in the efficiency of the E2E process
- Influence business partners who manage parts of the E2E process to ensure they continue to drive quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency into the process
- Facilitate dialogue allowing for an ability to quickly adapt to market changes and customer needs effectively
- Work with customer experience team to understand the voice of the customer and incorporate it into processes
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years’ experience in the retirement industry, strong background in operational functions with strategic focus on driving efficiency and effectiveness
- Background and proficiency in business process management (BPM), Lean principles, continuous improvement, and process improvement
- Deep business and financial acumen to help drive business transformation recommendations
- Strong influencing skills
- Strong ability to stakeholder and build trusted relationships with senior leaders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Has a strategic mindset to help shape strategy
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically within Excel and PowerPoint

- Previous experience with PEGA, preferred
- Ability to identify and support the eliminating non-value add activities
- Analytical mindset with advanced knowledge of Empower’s data at a transactional, phone call, and client level

Base Salary Range
$123,000.00 - $178,350.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
