The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with a solid understanding of core business operations to deliver scalable and maintainable Pega solutions.
What you will do:

- Support and Incident Management: Provide BAU (Business-As-Usual) support for production and non-production environments, fielding stakeholder queries and deploying 1–2 code releases monthly as part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
- Release Management and Documentation: Actively participate in application release cycles—including development, testing, and deployment—while developing and maintaining comprehensive technical support documentation.
- Standards-Based Problem Solving: Independently address variable application issues, applying industry best practices and evaluative judgment to ensure reliable and consistent service delivery with minimal business disruption.
- Stakeholder and Team Impact: Ensure quality outcomes that directly impact the business and team effectiveness, contribute to Support Project initiatives (Stability, Efficiency, Effectiveness), and prioritize bug fixes and support tasks.
- Technical Acumen and Process Improvement: Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end architecture of supported applications, and contribute to the improvement of development processes, tooling, and software architecture.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior engineers, influence team solutions through knowledge sharing and collaboration, and promote a culture of continuous technical growth and operational excellence.
What you will bring:
- Pega Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting PRPC 8.x/24.x in production environments, including end-to-end software development lifecycle: design, configuration, testing, debugging, deployment, and support.
- Enterprise & Cloud Implementation: Proven experience implementing or supporting Pega applications in enterprise and cloud environments (preferably AWS), with working knowledge of services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Tool & Platform Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as Pega PDC, BIX, AppDynamics, Splunk, Kibana, and Datadog, as well as basic exposure to scripting/programming in Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Infrastructure & OS Skills: Comfortable operating across multiple OS platforms (Unix, Linux, Windows) and supporting production systems through activities like patching, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
- Architecture & Engineering Fundamentals: Solid grasp of software architecture, microservices design, and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles, with strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Agile Environment Experience: Proven track record working in Agile/Scrum teams using JIRA or similar tools to manage workflows, priorities, and sprints.
- Communication & Problem Solving: Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills essential for collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
- Education & Industry Exposure: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; experience in the financial services industry is a plus. Flexibility to work 24/7 rotational shifts if required.
