The Senior Systems Administrator, Microsoft 365 and Entra Platforms will lead the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise Microsoft 365 and identity platforms, with a primary focus on Exchange Online and Entra ID. This role will ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of core collaboration and identity services while partnering across engineering, security, and business teams to drive cloud modernization, enforce best practices, and continuously improve the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
What you will do:
- Own and administer Microsoft 365 services with a primary focus on Exchange Online, including mail flow, transport rules, hygiene, performance, and availability.
- Manage and secure identity platforms using Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, and role-based access controls.
- Administer and optimize email security platforms, including Proofpoint, threat protection, policy tuning, and incident response.
- Design and implement scalable solutions across Microsoft 365 and Entra to support enterprise growth and reliability.
- Lead and execute cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises environments to Microsoft 365 and Entra.
- Establish and enforce governance, security, and compliance standards across Exchange Online, identity, and collaboration platforms.
- Monitor service health, performance, and usage, and proactively identify and resolve reliability and scalability issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-platform issues spanning Exchange Online, Entra ID, and integrated services.
- Automate administrative workflows and operational processes using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
- Leverage AI-driven tools and Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities to improve operational efficiency, automate routine tasks, and enhance user experience.
- Identify and implement opportunities to integrate automation and AI solutions into system administration, monitoring, and support processes.
- Develop and integrate solutions using Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, where it drives operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
- Contribute to platform standards, documentation, and operational best practices.
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance across Microsoft 365 and identity domains.
- Participate in additional initiatives and projects aligned with cloud and platform operations as business needs evolve.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments at scale.
- Deep expertise in Exchange Online, including mail flow, connectors, security, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with Entra ID and modern identity and access management practices.
- Experience with enterprise email security solutions such as Proofpoint.
- Proven experience supporting or leading cloud migration and modernization efforts.
- Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, and governance within Microsoft 365.
- Experience operating in complex, enterprise environments with cross-team dependencies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
What will set you apart:
- Demonstrated experience evaluating or implementing AI and automation solutions in IT operations.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, Identity, or Security.

Base Salary Range
$87,400.00 - $123,400.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
