The Financial Operations Valuation Specialist is responsible for monitoring the calculation and review of custom fund of funds, resolving any issues arising during the daily process. The Specialist also plays a role in ensuring mutual fund pricing and dividend/capital gain distributions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Reviews accuracy and timeliness of reports and reconciliations.
What you will do
Complete daily tasks relating to the NAV calculation of custom fund of funds.
Assist with the daily tasks related to the calculation of wrapped variable annuities; issues are to be properly addressed and corrected.
Work daily, weekly, monthly control reports to ensure ICOFR and SOX compliance.
Coordinate and communicate between numerous departments to ensure correct setup and calculation of funds.
Receive, review and load daily mutual fund prices, income accrual rates, and periodic dividends to fund accounting, trading and record keeping system.
Assist with year-end ERISA 5500 reporting.
Review monthly accounting statements to ensure accuracy
Assist with complex issue resolution related to but not limited to trading, valuation, share reconciliations, etc.
Reconcile expenses and create payments to various parties
Initiate and monitor custom fund of funds target allocation rebalancing.
Responsible for completing various departmental controls, including but not limited to; trial balance research, equity roll forward, dividend tracking, etc.
Responsible for completing assigned projects within established deadlines.
What you will bring
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, related field, or equivalent experience.
MS Office experience preferred, particularly Excel and Access.

Base Salary Range
$49,300.00 - $67,825.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
