Summary
The In Force RFI team supports Empower's existing client base by responding to due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), Request for Information (RFIs) and data-driven benchmarking requests. The Analyst plays a key role in ensuring high-quality, timely and compliant responses that reflect Empower’s brand, capabilities and its value proposition. This is a highly visible role and is expected to execute work with boldness, urgency, accountability and transparency. Primary Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end ownership of RFI, DDQ and benchmarking requests for existing Empower clients
- Analyze client data to prepare accurate and insightful benchmarking deliverables
- Collaborate effectively with client relationship managers, product owners and subject matter experts across business units
- Use Empower’s internal tools (Salesforce/CIRRUS, Plan Service Centre, EASY, Re-Price, etc.) to gather and validate information
- Apply critical thinking to align responses with Empower’s strategic positioning and messaging standards
- Maintain and update internal process documentation and response databases (e.g., Qvidian)
- Track and report project metrics, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation, knowledge management and content standardization.
- Serve as a resource for newer team members by sharing tool knowledge and best practices
Qualifications
Required
- MBA/ bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in RFI/ RFP or pre-sales content management (financial services preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong internal partnerships
- Leadership and strategic planning skills
- Strong operations and project management instincts
Preferred
- Financial services or fintech industry knowledge highly preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, Qvidian or similar RFP management tools
- Understanding of investment and retirement plan industry terminology
- Exposure to Stable Value or defined contribution product offerings
- Experience working in global or matrixed organizational environments
