The Retirement Representative is responsible for answering incoming telephone inquiries regarding retirement plans from participants, employers, and third-party plan specialists.
What you will do
- Answer incoming telephone inquiries including requests for general account information, concerns related to contributions and withdrawals, how to make changes to an account, product information and tax questions
- Assist participants through the navigation of the automated voice response system and website
- Submit requests for research and follow-up as needed
- Make outbound calls as necessary, based on level and experience
- Review, comprehend, and implement communications regarding plan updates and changes
- Run disbursement quotes, respond to managerial feedback, and attend meetings and training sessions
- In addition to answering caller inquiries, representatives will provide callers with education regarding retirement readiness
- Consistent adherence to work schedule and punctuality required
- Overtime may be required
What you will bring
- Associate degree in business or related field preferred
- With no degree, an additional one to two years directly related experience is required
- Must be available to work during the hours of 8pm – 10 am
- Fluent in English
- 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a financial service-related field
- FINRA fingerprinting required
