The Data Scientist (US) drives AI-enabled insights and solutions within the Responsible AI team. This role focuses on developing data models, running experiments, and turning data into actionable recommendations while ensuring alignment with responsible AI principles. The Data Scientist collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, and legal/compliance, to ensure compliance with ethical standards.

What you will do:

  • Design and implement predictive and prescriptive models to support responsible AI initiatives.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and experiment management.
  • Collaborate with the Responsible AI QA Analyst to validate models against RAI requirements.
  • Contribute to the creation of guidelines and frameworks that ensure ethical data usage.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Present results in a manner suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Authority to propose new data science projects and champion best practices in responsible AI.
  • Collaborates with data engineers, QA analysts, and compliance/legal teams.
  • May engage with external partners or academic institutions on responsible AI research.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI frameworks and relevant regulations is a plus.
  • Certifications in data science or specialized areas (e.g., NLP, deep learning) beneficial.
  • Strong quantitative skills, proficiency in Python/R, and experience with ML libraries.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of model risk management and fairness metrics.
  • Normal Office Working Conditions: US-based office or remote/hybrid depending on organizational policy.
  • Some travel may be required for conferences or cross-functional meetings.

Base Salary Range

$85,600.00 - $120,925.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
