This role is responsible to scope ambiguous problems, lead cross-functional discovery, and influence senior decision-makers through crisp storytelling and insight delivery. They will partner closely with Finance during planning and budgeting cycles to model scenarios and evaluate trade-offs, and should be highly adept at understanding vertical and horizontal impacts across the business.
What You Will Do
- Opportunity Identification: Define business-critical questions, scope them out, and lead analysis to identify levers for growth and efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Break down complex business challenges into actionable components. Lead small teams in conducting, high-impact analysis.
- Forecasting & Budget Influence: Build models to support strategic planning, budget allocation, and business case development in partnership with Finance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work fluidly across orgs to map processes, interview stakeholders, and pressure test assumptions.
- Communication: Craft clear, concise strategic documents and presentations for senior leadership. Build narratives backed by data.
- Influence & Execution: Drive action by aligning cross-functional stakeholders to recommendations and helping implement change.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years in strategy, analytics, or business performance (e.g., ex-consultant, internal strategy roles).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong experience conducting interviews, building process maps, and translating insight into action.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—vertical and horizontal.
- Experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving enterprise priorities.
- Prior experience with Empower or larger Financial Services Institutions is highly preferred.

Base Salary Range
$163,700.00 - $237,350.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
