As an experienced Social Media Analyst, you will lead Empower’s social analytics efforts as part of our in-house social media team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media performance metrics, data analysis, and how to leverage data to drive compelling strategy. The Social Media Analyst will be responsible for creating KPIs, tracking trends, reporting on performance metrics, and using analytics and insights to help guide strategies that help elevate Empower’s social media presence.
What you will do:
- Develop, standardize, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business objectives and social media goals
- Track, analyze, and report on organic and paid performance metrics across social media platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and X
- Monitor and regularly report on social media conversation, volume, sentiment and trends using social listening tools to uncover actionable insights that inform strategy
- Develop and maintain social listening dashboards and routines to track brand perception and identify opportunities and threats in real-time
- Regularly benchmark social media performance against industry standards and key competitors
- Present high-level insights and reports to executives, helping inform strategic decision-making across the business
- Implement and optimize tagging strategies for content and campaigns to improve reporting accuracy and insights
- Collaborate with marketing teams and business lines to provide data-driven insights on performance, recommending optimizations and adjustments to content strategies
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, platform and tools updates to continually improve the effectiveness of social media efforts
What you will bring:
- 4+ years in social media analysis with a focus on social media metrics, social listening and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
- Proficiency with Social Media Analytics tools (i.e., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Google Analytics) and native platform analytics
- Expertise in Excel to manipulate, analyze, and visualize large data sets
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and TikTok
- Strong experience in developing and tracking KPIs that align with business goals, including content performance, engagement rates, ROI, and audience growth
- Ability to think analytically, identify opportunities for improvement, and find creative ways to solve problems based on data insights

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- High competency in Microsoft Office Suite

Base Salary Range
$70,800.00 - $99,975.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
